? have the capability to upload and download files to and from the desktop and Web-based versions of the software you are using.
Exporting COM check -Web or RES check -Web files for use on the desktop versions
Once you have signed in to either COM check -Web or RES check -Web with your user name and password, the Sign-In/Register box in the upper right corner will become a Save/Load box. Save your current project on the BECP server by typing a name and clicking Save. You can then save the project to your computer to edit it within COM check or RES check by clicking the Download... link, selecting Save , and assigning a file name. Open the saved file in the desktop software.
Importing COM check or RES check files for use on the Web tools
To import saved COM check or RES check project files into COM check -Web or RES check -Web, select the Load Project link, the Load a .cck or .rck project file from my computer radio button, the file you want to load from your computer, and the Load Project link.
Moving files from one Web account to another
If you have more than one COM check -Web or RES check -Web account and want to move a project file from one account to another, follow the steps below:
- Save the project to your computer as outlined above from one account
- Close then reopen your Web browser
- Login to COM check -Web or RES check -Web with your other account
- Select the Load Project link, and select the file you just saved on your computer
- Save the file to your current account
File sharing limitations
COM check -Web or RES check -Web almost mirror the desktop tools however, new energy codes and software features are typically transitioned into the Web-based tools after the desktop software, so there may be some compatibility limitations. Users are encouraged to cross-check their compliance results between the Web and desktop tools to make sure that the expected results are the same.
